The Environment Agency has issued a Flood Warning - Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected for The River Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire and parts of East Bedfordshire.

Be aware. Be Prepared. Watch Out!

A Flood Warning has been issued for The River Great Ouse from Bedford to Offord.

River levels are continuing to rise and may overtop the banks. Roads will flood resulting in some impact on roads.

Areas at risk include Bedford, Cople, Willington, Gt, Barford, Tempsford, Roxton, Wyboston, Eynesbury, Eaton Ford, St, Neots, Lt Paxton and Offord

If you witness an emergency please report it to the Police via 999.

Out of Hours Emergencies

When the offices are closed and you urgently need help from the Council (Emergencies ONLY) you can contact the duty officer on Freephone 0800 212462 or mobile 07850 032360.

The Duty Officer will assess the situation and decide how best we can assist.

Examples of urgent situations the Council may be able to assist with include homelessness, raves or other noise nuisance problems, unsafe buildings due to, for example, storm or traffic damage.
